As we all know, the state of Johor recorded zero new Covid-19 cases yesterday, while positive cases remain at 655. In addition, no deaths were recorded, making the cumulative number of cases permanent at 17. As of yesterday, the total number of recovered cases was 368 while 270 patients are still being treated.
92 Sub-Districts In Johor Are Now Free From COVID-19
A total of 92 sub-districts in the state have been declared green zone after no new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were recorded from April 29th until May 12th. The Johor Health and Environment EXCO, R Vidyananthan, said no new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Johor for 10 consecutive days since May 3rd.
According to R Vidyananthan, despite entering the phase of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department of Johor remains committed to implementing the Public Sanitation Operations throughout the state. A total of 1,839 locations including 700 (government buildings), 142 (houses of worship), 438 (public places), and 559 (others) have been sanitised around Johor.

These statistics show that we are successfully fighting this COVID-19 pandemic. However, this is not the time to relax and chill just yet. Keep obeying the instructions given and we will be a few steps closer to curbing the spread of COVID-19.
