Want to find out how to take ordinary Shepherd’s Pie and make them even tastier? Corned Beef, that’s how. Hear us out, packed with deliciously creamy, and halal, this tasty twist on a St. Patrick’s Day classic is super easy to throw together. This recipe makes for a quick and easy mid-week meal and will surely sharpen your cooking skills!

Ingredients 

Corned Beef (diced)
Holland Onion (diced)
Sausage (sliced)
Carrot (sliced)
Chili Padi (sliced)
Potato (cooked and finely mashed)                                                                                                                                                                                      Cheese
Powdered milk
Salt

Ingredients (White Sauce)

Butter
Cheese
Full Cream Milk (150 ml)
Wheat Flour (2 Tablespoons)

Step 1: For the white sauce: Melt butter in a pan, add wheat flour, full cream milk, and cheese. Stir well and cook until bubbly. Set aside.

Step 2: In a separate pan, stir-fry holland onion, carrot, sausage, and chili padi. Season it with salt, sugar, and white paper.

Step 3: Add corned beef and white sauce. Cook and stir for 3 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.

Step 4: Meanwhile, combine mashed potato, cheese, and powdered milk in a bowl; beat in the potato mixture until combined.

Step 5: Add the peas to beef mixture and pour it into 4-pieces small aluminum foil tray. Top with the mashed potatoes and spread to cover, then run a fork over the potatoes to make shallow furrows.

Step 6: Bake( 190c/375F) for 25 to 35 minutes or until filling is bubbly and the potatoes are golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes, then serve.
