1. Restoran Kin Hua
This quaint coffee shop that dates its establishment back to 1919, is one of the local’s favourite breakfast spots in Johor to get a cup of good old Nanyang-style Kopi. Here, they’ve also got a wide selection of breakfast menu from soft-boiled eggs, yam cakes, fried noodles and nyonya kueh too! Oh and go early to get a table before it’s all packed!

One of the most notable menu here is their Otak Otak toast. With a well balanced of savoury and sweetness, it makes you go in for more.

So if you’re searching for a smooth and deep cup of kopi, this is the right place to go for it. Apart from its coffee, Sunshine Coffee also hits the creative side with their Sambal Toast. We recommend a half-boiled egg to go with it!

A fairly new addition to the cafes that serve traditional local delights, Hock Kee Restaurant is somewhere you would stop by for its Nanyang fusion dishes. Here, you can choose whether you want your Kaya Toast to be crispy all the way or just on the exterior. Both are equally delicious with a huge slice of butter! Otherwise, you can also opt for their popular Hainanese Chicken Chop too.
