MySejahtera App: MOH’s New Tracking App Helps To Detect Covid-19 Cases Within 1km Radius

The app allows users to check if there are COVID-19 cases within a 1km radius of the searched location.
The app will find out if there are COVID-19 cases of a searched location in the past 28 days.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Malaysians are adjusting to the new norms in our daily lives. Everyone needs to take care of themselves, their families and the community around them to ensure that they are free from the virus. We can now use MySejahtera app to find out COVID-19 cases within a 1km radius.

MOH Is Encouraging The Public To Download The MySejahtera App

During the COVID-19 press conference on Thursday, 28th May, Health Director-General Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah urged Malaysians to use the app provided by the MOH to monitor the outbreak as well as assess their health condition online. Areas are classified into red, yellow, or green zones based on cases that were reported in the searched location in the past 28 days.

“For those who have not yet downloaded the MySejahtera application, they can do so to use important functions, including self-assessment and health information from the Health Ministry’s CPRC (Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre),” he told the press conference.

Malaysians Adjusting To New Norms In Daily Life

The public will be able to search for other high-risk areas that they should avoid. The app also provides information on the nearest COVID-19 screening facilities and health information from the ministry’s Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre. Together, let’s fight back and constantly monitor ourselves and our loved ones.
