1. Taman Merdeka
No introduction needed for this spread of green joy. This 12-hectare park features nine themed gardens that depict the history of the country. And although the kiddie pool is obviously the main attraction, their gorgeous jogging route doesn’t fall short either. It is far from vehicle distraction. Plus! You will be rewarded with the pleasure of warm dusk scenery when you stay until sunset.

2. Hutan Bandar
The second most popular recreational park after Taman Merdeka, Hutan Bandar (translates to City Forest) is the only forest reserve in Johor Bahru. True to its name, it is a forest within the city. Often times you will be able to see duck and birds loitering around as well. The jogging route loops around the park and it is impossible to get tired of.

4. Tanjung Emas Park
