Hello, foodies! How has it been since you went to a night market and indulge in delicious street foods? For some of us, it might be 3 months. While others, even longer. Despite months of waiting and staying at home, we’ve got some good news to share! Just a few days ago, it was announced that Pasir Gudang’s night markets are returning! And the best part is, it’s not just 1 but 9 night markets are reopening on 22nd June 2020!

9 Long-Awaited Pasir Gudang Night Markets Are Returning

Night markets are our favourite spots to explore local street foods.  Be it the classic peanut-filled Apam Balik or the piping hot Dim Sum, you can find it all at the night market. And no matter how late you go, there is always something there that matches your palate. While it has been months since we’ve been to a night market, you’ll be delighted to know that Pasir Gudang night markets are now finally reopening!

Just announced a few days ago, Pasir Gudang is reopening 9 of its night markets starting from 22nd June 2020. With these night markets opening on different days throughout the week, you can now get your favourite snack cravings fixed on any day! However with a strict SOP to follow, here’s what you need to know:

  • Limited to only 30 minutes at the night market.
  • Required to take temperature and apply hand sanitisers.
  • To check in the ‘MySejahtera’ app.
  • To wear a mask.
  • Maintain a 1-meter social distance.
  • Take away only.
  • Seniors (above 65) and children (below 12) are not encouraged to go.
  • Open from 5PM to 9PM only.

Starting from 22nd June 2020, night markets at Jalan Pelanduk (Scientex), Jalan Durian (Kota Masai), Jalan Intan (Cahaya Masai), Jalan Siakap (Taman Pasir Putih), Taman Mawar, Tasek 64 (Bandar Seri Alam), Taman Air Biru, Jalan Mangga (Kota Masai) and Tasek 60 (Bandar Seri Alam) will reopen.
