Johor Police To Increase Number Of Roadblocks For CMCO Across The State

Despite the government order for 4 weeks CMCO, the entrance, and exit to the Johor state are tightly controlled with roadblocks (SJR) at all strategic locations. A survey at the Skudai Toll Plaza which is one of the main routes to and from this district yesterday morning found that every vehicle that wants to continue its journey to the city center was thoroughly inspected.

Johor Police Strictly Controls State Borders

Apart from monitoring the number of passengers in each vehicle, authorities also advise that no cross-state attempts be made so that they are not compounded and instructed to turn back when they reach the Johor border later.

To avoid being detained, the following is might be a list of routes for roadblocks in Johor to look out for:

  1. South Johor Bahru: 
  • Country Garden (before the M-Suite Hotel headed to the city)
  • Jalan Pantai (before Permas Jaya bridge)
  • Taman Daya (in front of Econsave supermarket)
  • Jalan Lingkaran Dalam way to Bangunan Sultan Iskandar
  • Bangunan Sultan Iskandar way to Jalan Lingkaran Dalam

2. North Johor Bahru:

  • Jalan Johor Bahru –Air Hitam (KM 13 in front Paradigm Mall)
  • Jalan Kempas – Kempas Baru
  • Perling – Second Link highway KM 22
  • Jalan Johor Bahru – Pontian KM 19

3. Seri Alam:

  • Jalan Kota Masai 2
  • Jalan Tebrau@Pandan
  • KM 25 Johor Bahru – Kota Tinggi

4. Iskandar Puteri: 

  • Intersection Sutera Danga – Selesa Jaya
  • Infront SMK Bukit Indah
  • Jalan Gelang Patah – Ulu Choh
  • Exit Second link Jalan Gelang Patah – Ulu Choh
  • Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar (southbound)

5. Kulai:

  • Junction to Felda Taib Andak
  • Lebuh Putra Utama, Bandar Putra
  • KM 23 Jalan Johor Bahru – Air Hitam
  • Tol Kulai
  • Tol Sedenak
  • Tol Senai Utara
  • Tol Skudai (SJR Bukit Aman)
  • In front of SMK Bukit Batu
