Here’s How To Make Delicious Sizzling Noodles At Home Without Using Hot Plate

Hello, dearest foodies! It’s the fourth day of Ramadan, here’s a question that will always pop up. That is, what can I cook as a breaking fast meal? If you are indeed scratching your head over this matter every day, here is something that will help you out. Here is a recipe for the famous food court food, Sizzling Noodles that you can make at home!

Delicious And Hot Sizzling Noodles Recipe You Can Make At Home!

When it comes to breaking fast in Malaysia, on average it seems that most households will have rice as the main menu.  Why not try to cook something different and since the MCO is extended, our craving for Sizzling Noodles is getting higher. No hot plate at home? Don’t worry, an ordinary pan will do the trick too!

Ingredients (Bottom Layer)

Ginger (2-3 Inch)
Garlic (5 Cloves)
Black Pepper (5-7 pieces)
Chicken
Water (2-3 Cups)                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Oyster Sauce (4 Tablespoons)
Dark Soy Sauce (5 Tablespoons)
Sweet Soy Sauce (3 Tablespoons)
Black Pepper Powder (1 Tablespoon)
Chicken Cube (1 Cube)                                                                                                                                                                                                      Corn Starch (3-4 Tablespoons)
Sugar
Salt
Button Mushroom
Mustard Green                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Eggs
Yee Mee

Step 1: First slice the garlic and ginger. Crush it using pestle and mortar then put the black pepper and crush them well.

Step 2: Heat the oil. Put in the crushed ingredients earlier. Stir-fry, then insert the dry chillies. Stir-fry until golden brown.

Step 3: When it is brown, put in the chicken. When the chicken looks a little cooked, add water. Put 3 cups, but if you want to put a little bit more, it’s up to you but don’t overdo it.

Step 4: Next when it’s almost boiling, lower the heat and add oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, black pepper powder, and chicken cube.

Step 5: Mix the corn starch with water in another container and then pour it into the boiling pan. The sauce will be thick and glossy.

Step 6: Add the mushrooms, sugar, and salt. Put the mustard green and turn off the heat.

Step 7: Take another pan, and then put the Yee Mee, crack an egg, and pour the boiling sauce on lower heat. Serve it right away while it’s hot!

Additional info, make sure to boil the Yee Mee and don’t overcook it.
