You might or might not heard of this, but Tanba is a relatively new late night steamboat in Johor. With its contemporary design and cozy space, Tanba quickly became a famous spot, especially if you’re looking for an ‘atas’ steamboat spot. They offer a list of soup base, with ‘mala’, ‘tomato’ and ‘herbal chicken’ soup being our favourite. Another plus point for Tanba is that they use charcoal to fire up their pot instead of gasoline.

The most unpretentious, easy-going late night steamboat in Johor. We wouldn’t even consider Sing Lok Lok Steamboat as an official steamboat due to its over-casual vibe. Pick anything that you would like to try at the front. Throw it into the boiling water, when it’s done, take it out and dip them into different sauces. Not a fan of lok-lok? Well the restaurant offers other fares like lala soup and ala carte dishes as well.
