Easy Chinese Style Mapo Tofu Recipe To Make At Home!
Ingredients:
Soft tofu (4 pieces)
Minced garlic (3 cloves)
Slices of ginger (2)
Chicken fillet (2 pieces)
Chili powder (1 tablespoon)
Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
Chicken seasoning powder or chicken stock cubes
Oil
Sesame oil
Cornstarch (2 tablespoons mixed with water)
Scallion
Salt
Step 1: Cut the tofu into small pieces and set aside.
Step 2: Heat cooking oil and saute garlic and ginger. Then, add in the chicken.
Step 3: Add chili powder mixed with water, stir until the oil separates. Add 1 cup half the water. Season with salt, chicken seasoning powder and soy sauce. Mix until boiling.
Step 4: Add the cornflour mixture until the sauce becomes slightly thick.
Step 5: Let the tofu cook for a while. Then, sprinkle with sliced onion and a few drops of sesame oil.
Step 6: Ready to serve, enjoy your meal!
