MBJB: Detailed SOPs To Take Note Of This MCO 3.0

As we all know, the 7th of May 2021 dictates the start of MCO 3.0 across 3 districts in Johor. They are Johor Bahru, Kota Tinggi and Kulai. MCO 3.0 in Johor will be taking place from 7th to 20th May 2021. In line with this implementation, MBJB has also released detailed SOPs that we should all take note of, especially if you’re residing in the MCO areas.

Activities that are allowed to operate are as follows:

• Healthcare facilities (operating hours as usual)
• Night Markets (4PM-10PM)
• Bazaar JB (6PM-10PM)
• Ramadan Bazaar (3PM-8PM)
• Restaurants, food courts, hawkers (6AM-12AM from 7th-12 May | 6AM-10PM from 13th May onwards) for TAKE AWAY or DELIVERY only, NO DINE-IN ALLOWED.
• Petrol Stations and petrol marts (6AM-10PM, except 24-hour petrol stations)
• Food Trucks or Car boot sales with MBJB permits (6AM-12AM from 7th-12 May | 6AM-10PM from 13th May onwards) for TAKE AWAY, DELIVERY or DRIVE-THRU only, NO DINE-IN ALLOWED.
• Hair Salons, Hairdressers, and beauty salons (6AM-10PM) for basic haircut services only
• Shopping malls, pharmacies, laundry services, optical shops, pet shops and more (6AM-10PM)

For activities that are allowed to operate, strict SOPs must be implemented such as the mandatory use of the MySejahtera QR Code at the premise.

Activities that are not allowed to operate throughout MCO 3.0:

• Spa and reflexology centers
• Sports and recreational activities
• Entertainment activities (night clubs, pubs, theme parks, cinema, karaoke centers, indoor/outdoor busking)
• Seminars or conferences
• Tourism activities (no entry and exit from MCO or EMCO areas)
