Closed down on the 18th of March due to MCO, many thought it was just like any other hotel which is temporarily closed down. However, reported yesterday by the New Straits Times, it was announced that the 4-star hotel will be closing down permanently after 29 years. It was also stated, the reason behind this was due to the loss of customers from Singapore.

A Closing Ceremony That Was Supposed To Invite All Its Employees

Additionally, according to a photo on social media, the hotel is said to hold a closing ceremony on August 30th from 4PM to 5PM. An invitation gathering all current and ex-employees to celebrate their moments with the hotel. However, with an overwhelming response and too many employees, it was sadly canceled as it would not adhere to SOPs. Anyways, we hope all other businesses will survive this cruel pandemic and see you in the next post!
