14 Public Places Where The Use Of Face Mask Is Compulsory
First implemented on the 1st of August, the government has made it clear that everyone has to wear a mask in public areas. But exactly where? This question has stirred up quite a topic and here’s the answer from the National Security Council (MKN). Released earlier today on their official Facebook account, here are the 14 places you should take note of:
- Mosques and suraus
- Houses of worship
- Social gatherings
- Public transportation
- Zoos
- School buses/school vans
- Sports and recreation (when not doing sports)
- Clinics and hospitals
- Public markets
- Cinemas and live events
- Retail and service shops
- Hair salon and beauty salons
- Spa, beauty and reflexology centres
- Family entertainment centres
Let’s Keep Up The Work
With less than 20 new cases over the past week, Malaysia’s COVID-19 cases stand at a total of 9,002 cases. As of August 4th, the number of active cases is 193. Progressing to recover, let’s keep up the work by complying with these rules. So, next time when you’re out in these 14 places, make sure you’ve got your face mask on. Otherwise, don’t get surprised with a fine of RM1,000!
