1. New Hong Kong Restaurant
Opened in the middle of Baby Boomers Generation, 1954, they’ve been standing strong for almost 65 years now! Over the years, they’re well known for their authenticity and quality. All the common Dim Sum can be found here, you name it.
The textures are simply amazing and all of them are very worth it.

Located 30-45 minutes from Malaysia checkpoint, this is a spot where lots of Singaporean would travel to for their extremely low price dim sum. Another reason for their popularity is that customers get to choose based on their likings from the counter and be served to their table.

3. Tasixi Hong Kong Dim Sum Restaurant
Tasixi offers you a wide variety of choices when it comes to Dim Sum. They’re praised for having the smoothest Chee Cheong Fan where you might have a hard time trying to put it into your mouth, most importantly, it’s very delicious!

4. Gim Cheng Restaurant

Ask locals around and you’ll know that the Dim Sum here are relatively affordable without compromising on the quality of the food. In addition, if you’re there, be sure to try out the silky smooth porridge and crispy egg tarts here that usually sell out by 9AM.

Also, you’ll commonly hear from locals that you must not walk away without taking away the delicious, made in-store Paos. Furthermore, there are a wide variety of Dim Sum here that will leave all foodies spoiled for choice.

6. Say Yes Hong Kong Dim Sum (思源香港点心)
This very next Dim Sum place will have you saying Yes upon every plate of Dim Sum (no pun intended) because it’s none other than Say Yes Hong Kong Dim Sum! This Dim Sum place is situated in Skudai and is constantly swarmed with locals who just can’t enough of their Xiao Long Baos as well as the Custard Bao here. In addition to the really delicious food, the ambience in this place also deserves some recognition.

7. Chang Man Restaurant
Chang Man Restaurant, or its Mandarin equivalent directly translates into ‘always full’ and this definitely rings true. Especially on weekend mornings, this place is constantly packed to the brim. Also, don’t forget to try the Custard Bao as the salted egg filling is generous and upon the very first bite, you’ll get a taste of the creamy, piping hot custard. Although this place is always full with regular patrons, the fast service here is highly commendable.

During weekend mornings, this place is constantly abuzz by both locals as as well as Singaporeans. What’s captivating about Kak Kak Dim Sum is that they are all handmade and steamed in old-school tower-like steaming trays. So what we get here are steaming Dim Sum, packed with classic flavours. Oh, did we mention they have been around for almost 30 years?
