Here’s An Easy ‘Bingka Susu’ Recipe You Should Try At Home

Bingka Susu Is Crispy On The Outside & Creamy On The Inside!

Bingka or Bengkang is a kind of famous Kueh among the Malay community. It is made from various ingredients such as wheat, sweet potato, coconut, oats, and milk. In addition, it is a dessert that is popular among both adults and children. Here’s how you can make Bingka Susu at home!

Ingredients (A)

Wheat Flour (1 Cup)
Evaporated Milk (1 Cup)
Sugar (2 Tablespoons)
Eggs (2)
Condensed Milk (1/2 Cup)

Step 1: Mix all the ingredients (A) to a bowl and whisk it well.

Ingredients (B)

Water (1 Cup)
Margarine (6 Tablespoons)
Custard Flour (2 Tablespoons)
Salt (1/2 Teaspoon)
Vanilla Essence (1/2 Teaspoon)

Step 2: Mix well all the ingredients (B) and pour into a pan.

Step 3: Put the pan that contains the mixture on the kitchen stove and then light up the stove with low heat.

Step 4: Stir until the mixture is sticky and then pour in the ingredients (A) into the pan. Mix again until the mixture becomes clumpy and turn off the heat.

Step 5: Before pouring the mixture in, spread the inside of a glass tray with margarine evenly. Sprinkle some sesame seed on top of the mixture.

Step 6: Bake at 180c degrees for 40 minutes. When it’s ready don’t cut to serve right away, leave it to cool completely. Then, it’s ready to be served.
