This just in – In a statement from Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri, he said that the government is no longer restricting dining tables at restaurants to seat four people. This means that you can now dine in with more than four pax per table. Although, this is dependent on the table size and if there is enough social distancing between persons at the table.

Senior Defence Minister, Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri said in a statement today that the Federal Government no longer restricts restaurants and eateries to limit seating to 4 people per table. The previous standard operating procedure which limited 4 people to a large table is no longer applicable. Although diners are allowed to dine-in and sit together with more than 4 pax per table (depending on size), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri said that enough social distancing between diners must be in place.
