In accordance with the government directive of Movement Control Order (MCO) Phase 3 to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic until April 28th, all business premises are closed for the duration of the period except those involved in national services or essential services. Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru (MBJB) announced the latest business operation hours effective April 15 to April 28, 2020.
The Latest Business Hours In The Area Of MBJB
Besides, businesses that are not allowed to operate include barbershops, eyewear stores, night markets and many more. While for all business premises or business activities that have been authorized to operate during the MCO are directed to the following limited hours of operation:
- Kidney Dialysis Centre: Business hours as usual
- Private clinic, Dental clinic, Veterinary hospital: 8 AM – 8 PM
- Pasar Pandan (Wholesales: 4 AM – 10 PM; Private market; 7 AM – 1 PM; Grocery store: 8 AM – 8 PM)
- Public markets, Private markets, and Farmers markets: 7 AM – 1 PM
- Gas station with mart: 8 AM – 8 PM
- ATM machine: 8 AM – 8 PM
- Agricultural store, Pet store, Spare part store: 8 AM – 4 PM (Monday – Thursday)
- Car Workshop: not allowed except on-call (essential services)
- Hardware store, Electrical and electronic goods store: 8 AM – 8 PM
- Dobby service (only full services not self-service or 24 hours dobby): 8 AM – 8 PM

This notice and instructions are issued from time to time and will be amended if further instructions from the state government are made. Moreover, always be mindful of the implementation of preventive measures for the spread of the disease.
