Hello Malaysians, as you know each of us has a role to play in the battle against COVID-19. For most of us, we are assigned to stay home as this helps to control the spread of the disease. With such a large number of patients at hospitals, many healthcare workers simply do not have enough personal protection equipment (PPE) to protect themselves as they treat new COVID-19 patients.
Fashion Designer Radzuan Radziwill Help Frontliners In Battle Against COVID-19
In an Instagram video post, Radzuan is seen in his home demonstrating how he makes the PPEs by cutting blue fabric and sewing it together on his sewing machine.
Each day he is able to prepare 50 pairs of PPE in various sizes from Small to Extra Large with the aid of a doctor from the Serdang Hospital following the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO).
In addition, he added if only more designers and tailors can work together on this project, he believes more can contribute to frontline workers and ease their difficulty in getting adequate PPE supply.
A Tiny Kindness Goes A Long Way
Healthcare workers can finally heave a sigh of relief as more Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be distributed to hospitals in the Klang Valley thanks to Datuk Radzuan Radziwill’s efforts.
